Setting Up Your Environment

All you need to do to add the Plug-In Pro to your ToolBook development environment is install it!

After installing the Plug-In Pro, a Platte menu is added to your author level menu bar every time you open an instance of development ToolBook. Use this menu to access various utilities and configure Plug-In palettes.

Note that the Plug-In Pro will restore your default palette settings, including any popup positions, every time you open a book. If you do not want the Plug-In Palettes to show automatically, make sure they've been set to "hide" before exiting your application.

Platte Canyon recommends developing at a minimum resolution of 800x600.
